29 Nov Marc Márquez, luxury host of the Allianz Junior Motor Camp second edition
The five-time motorcycling world champion Marc Márquez presented today in Rufea circuit (Lleida) the Allianz Junior Motor Camp second edition, together with its 20 selected Kids, in the framework of its joint project Laps for Life 93.
The 17 boys and 3 girls from United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal and Spain got to the camp on Sunday, and they have already been training for almost 2 days under Marc teachings. Marc Márquez himself was in charge of choosing the 20 participants of this off-road training camp. “I am very happy to have the opportunity to be able to teach what I know to these 20 children; they make me think of when I started. It is gratifying to pass on what I have learned over time“, explained the pilot. It is worth remembering that Marc got on a motorcycle for the first time when he was only 4 years old. The off-road has helped him from an early age to improve his technique, which is essential in a competitive sport as motorcycling.
The boys and girls, aged between 10 and 13, apart from meeting their idol personally, have the opportunity to receive the advice and teachings of Marc Márquez firsthand, to share experiences with him and the rest of the coaches and to visit his exhibition in Cervera, among other activities. In this second edition, the participants are from United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal and Spain.
The Allianz Junior Motor Camp is the joint initiative organized by Allianz Seguros and Marc Márquez, within the framework of its solidarity project Laps for Life 93. Through this camp, its organizers are making a commitment to the motor world and youth. The fun will continue until Thursday, December 1st, when this second edition will come to an end and the boys and girls will pack their bags to go back home.
