Allianz Night Run
On 2 July, the firs Allianz Night Run will be taking place, promoted by Laps for Life 93.
This new project has many incentives: the run takes place at night, at the Barcelona-Catalunya Circuit in Montmeló, and participants will get an official t-shirt, enjoy a Pasta Party, and be treated to a live concert.
And it’s all for a good cause, since 2 euros from every entry fee will go towards funding school meals as part of a project run by Aldeas Infantiles SOS.
And if you don’t like running, but you still want to support this good cause, you can pick up a number 0 shirt, priced 5 euros, which will be donated in full to the charity organisation. Furthermore, Allianz has pledged to match the amount raised through entry fees to the race and donate it to the charity as well. “I am particularly excited about this race: not just because it’s taking place on a track I know so well, but also because together we have the opportunity to help children”, said the ambassador for this event, Marc Márquez.
Running to help the children

By taking part in this race, runners will be financially supporting the Funded School Meals Programme run by Aldeas Infantiles SOS, which benefits over 500 children and teenagers throughout Spain.
This initiative covers the cost of providing children with free school meals and meeting their dietary requirements, guaranteeing that they get at least one healthy balanced meal a day.
